2025 Fair Timeline
October 2024: Registration is Open for 2025 Fair
Step 1: Get your teacher or advisor to register here.
Step 2: Register yourself here. Fill out the project information, the research plan, and the “files and forms” section.
Step 3: When you are ready, request a formal review of your project by Scientific Review Committee (SRC) thru email. The SRC must review and approve ALL projects before they are allowed to compete.
Saturday, February 1st, 2025 (11:59 PM): Deadline for submission of all NEW review requests to the SRC. This is a HARD deadline. NO NEW review requests will be accepted after this date.
Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 (11:59 PM): Deadline for FINAL SRC CLEARANCE for all projects still in the SRC approval pipeline. This is a HARD deadline. Projects still unapproved after this date will be INELIGIBLE for fair competition.
Note that if your project involves human subjects or safety issues, one week may not be enough time for review. If you have such a project, our advice is don’t request review at the 11th hour.
Deadline for submission of the judging materials (slides, logbook pages, headshot, video) must be received a week before the fair, Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 (11:59 PM)
All material submissions are only to be done through the STEM Wizard. No email submissions are accepted.

IMPORTANT SRC INFORMATION
As an ISEF affiliated fair, all projects intended for competition at CSRSEF must receive SRC/IRB clearance BEFORE they are allowed to compete.
To request review, you must do two things:
Contact the SRC by email at SRC@centralsoundfair.org to request review. Remember, the SRC will NOT initiate contact with you. If you fail to reach out to the SRC, you project will NOT be reviewed.
Click on the SRC milestone at the top of your STEM WIZARD page, and answer the question. This will turn the milestone green.
Upon receipt of your request, the SRC will be in touch with further information as to the review process itself.

STEMWizard Form Uploader App
There is a Form Uploader App for your phone that you can use for STEMWizard when needing to upload forms.
While this option exists, double check that the form you uploaded has the right information. Download the form on a computer after upload, to make sure that it is not blank and has all the right information.
